AdValvas, a European authority in e-invoicing procedures, has been bought by Axway, a global leader in B2B Integration and EDI. The purchase offers new capabilities in the areas of invoicing and compliance, further strengthening Axway's position as a pioneer in B2B integration. These include global B2G (Business-to-Government) and B2B e-invoicing mandates as well as incorporated support for Peppol and the French VAT reform.
“AdValvas has been at the forefront of Peppol and e-invoicing for the past decade, helping steer the direction of invoice compliance around the globe," said Axway CEO Patrick Donovan. "We are thrilled to welcome AdValvas and look forward to leveraging their deep expertise to help our customers navigate the delicate compliance waters ahead."
When taking into account the new legislative requirements for B2B invoicing in France, which will have a substantial impact starting in 2024, the timing of this transaction is important. In the EU, B2G e-invoicing is already required for all public procurements, and as more nations implement Continuous Transaction Control (CTC), B2B e-invoicing has turned into a business necessity.
AdValvas has a solid reputation in the market for being able to assist businesses in streamlining their billing procedures and completing the challenging criteria of international B2B integration. Customers can anticipate knowledgeable assistance and a comprehensive solution that enables them to conduct business globally, standards-driven, and constantly up-to-date – regardless of the country – with the addition of AdValvas to the Axway portfolio.
“Axway’s acquisition of our company marks a significant milestone in our growth journey,” says Michel Gilis, formerly CEO of AdValvas and now Axway VP e-Invoicing. “We remain committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our valued customers, employees, and stakeholders, and we will stay focused and contribute to the standards and best practices on a global scale. We look forward to continuing to serve you as part of the Axway family.”
AdValvas will function as a division of Axway, and the B2B Integration Platform of Axway will incorporate its goods and services.
