The Mortgage Collaborative ("TMC"), America's largest independent cooperative network for the mortgage industry, which includes both community banks and non-bank lenders, has signed an exclusive platform agreement with Voxtur Analytics Corp, a North American technology company building a more transparent and accessible real estate lending ecosystem.

Over 250 TMC members will have access to Voxtur's full digital ecosystem to support the mortgage lifecycle. In more detail, Blue Water, a platform for trading mortgage assets from Voxtur, will provide a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution to make it easier to buy and sell mortgage assets like full loans from first mortgage agencies, mortgage servicing rights, second liens, and non-QM mortgages. Mortgage assets and portfolios can be priced, traded, reviewed, transferred, and funded using the Blue Water platform in the secondary market.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for Voxtur, TMC, and its members,” said Gary Yeoman, CEO of Voxtur. “Our mortgage asset trading platform is built to deliver high volume trading and create efficient liquidity. We have successfully deployed similar platforms and I am confident that TMC and its members will realize value.”

Lenders require more income and liquidity as the market begins to recover. Operational challenges and high expenses lead to decreased investor prospects and demand for mid- to small-sized lenders with modest servicing portfolios. Additionally, smaller portfolios command fewer proceeds, which disadvantages many originators and prevents the best possible liquidity. The most advanced, effective, and distinctive platform for trading asset portfolios of any size is now available to TMC's members.

To reduce underwriting risk and prevent expensive rep and warrant claims, Blue Water's all-digital trading system checks crucial loan data, performs a high-level examination of investor eligibility, and provides real-time exception remediation management.
