Zoho Corporation revealed its intentions to utilize NVIDIA's AI accelerated computing platform, which includes NVIDIA NeMo, for the creation and integration of large language models (LLMs) into its Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. This unveiling took place at the NVIDIA AI Summit in Mumbai on October 24, 2024. The LLMs will be available to Zoho's large customer base of more than 700,000 worldwide.
Zoho has spent more than USD 10 million on NVIDIA's AI technology and GPUs and plans to invest another USD 10 million next year. Ramprakash Ramamoorthy, who serves as the Director of AI at Zoho Corporation, emphasized the company's dedication to developing LLMs customized for different business needs. He pointed out that numerous current LLMs are focused on consumers and do not have practical use for businesses. Zoho utilizes its complete technology stack to incorporate context into AI, boosting its efficiency. The company prioritizes user privacy by making sure its models meet privacy regulations from the beginning, with the goal of providing businesses with fast and efficient ROI using NVIDIA's AI software and accelerated computing.
For over ten years, Zoho has been incorporating artificial intelligence into its wide array of products, spanning over 100 offerings across ManageEngine and Zoho divisions. The company employs a strategy involving multiple forms of AI to provide contextual intelligence, helping users make informed business decisions. Zoho is creating specific language models for narrow, small, and medium-sized applications, different from LLMs, to cater to different needs.
