Cloudorado, a cloud computing platform has announced updates to its cloud computing comparison service where in a single tool deals with all priced and non-priced related aspects. These updates enable the users to select the best cloud provider for their business in terms of both price and functionality. The new version enhances and improves the cloud hosting cost comparisons, adding multi-tier deployments, load balancers, cloud storage and fixed IPs. The updated service comprises 117 distinct features into account, which include: security compliance and certifications (SSAE 16, HIPPA, FISMA, PCI DSS, etc.); cloud management features; support levels; SLA; elasticity of the offers; level of reliability; available services; various technical details regarding networking, servers, used technologies, and security design; licenses; billing details; and support by third-party tools. Users have an option to compare between features based on two distinct methodologies; by using filtering tool to narrow down costs; or can view a table in the updated version comprising features of the providers. “Cloud computing providers support critical applications, which often are revenue sources, while cloud services can also be a major source of costs.
